Dichotomy

Any splitting of a whole into exactly two non-overlapping parts, meaning it is a procedure in which a whole is divided into two parts, or in half. It is a partition of a whole (or a set) into two parts (subsets) that are:
- jointly exhaustive: everything must belong to one part or the other, and
- mutually exclusive: nothing can belong simultaneously to both parts.
The two parts thus formed are complements. In logic, the partitions areopposites if there exists a proposition such that it holds over one and not the other.
Another counterfeit concept that has infected western thought.

You’re Yangyanging. Your right mind has become a mirror of the left mind, disabling the “bullshit detector” of the right mind. You are in an echo box inside your own skull. Your sub conscious has been turned into the sub-idiot, a built in “yes man”. You are an idiot, the left and right algorithms will always compare for you, truth has been elevated to TRUTH. It must really be simple to be an idiot, no wonder of the unknown, no awareness of reality, no thought processes going on. Just carrying out your task of being a robot slave in this ant warren of a society we are in, blithely executing your programming blissful in your ignorance and confident in your TRUTH. In any case, this system always works the same way although the balance point may be different because of circumstances, imprinting, education and a jillion things that affect the balance. The brain evolved/was designed by god/emerged randomly whatever and enables us to deal with a rapidly changing environment. In operation this mobile is dancing all over the place, buffeted by Mr Ted’s much beloved hurricanes, or social change or personal tragedy or mama grizzlies or “unfolding in the now’s” whatever. The Aristotelian Brain Fart locks down the mythos side of the mobile and the Taoist brain fart locks down the logos side of the mobile severely limiting flexibility for the individual but maximizing efficiency for society. What motivational people call focus. The debate over extrinsic or intrinsic is inside the skull. IE it ain’t real. The ether is real, or the great mysterious, or spacial forcing, or cosmic standing wave whatever. Simply put REALITY is real, whatever word you choose, not our perception of it.
