The 800 lb. Gorilla

“Bottom up thinking is more about understanding the question, rather than knowing the answer” - el Loco Gringo

(When I speak of right hemisphere I am speaking of the weighted Boolean network, not the binary network. There is substantial evidence that these logic patterns are reversed in 7% of the population. Doesn’t matter in a practical sense)

In session you drew what I would call squiggly lines in the head, and you latter termed tangles or twisters. You conveyed instantly a double handful of information in transferring a right brain symbol into my right brain, not least of which you are not an idiot, and I am not an idiot. An idiot would be puzzled. It’s not that he can’t understand, he won’t understand. His mind has been hijacked. He is the victim of a social lobotomy. I do not think of myself as smart, I think of other people as dumb. Einstein was not smart, he was normal. His minds were not hijacked. I am amused and disheartened by the attempts to find out why Einstein was smart. Idiots are running CAT scans, MRI scans, measuring convolutions etc. The reason Einstein was smart was that he was not an idiot. His minds worked the way they had evolved/created to work. THIS IS WITHIN EVERYONE.

Now for the 800 lb gorilla that no one is talking about. How do you explain this concept to an idiot. How can you tell someone who is not capable of accessing his own right brain how to access another’s? How can he look through another’s tunnel when he can’t look through his own? How can he walk in someone elses shoes when he’s barefoot? “Aye, there’s the rub” - Shakespere

I am constantly reminded of Ayn Rands comments on “The slavering beast devouring the minds of man” “No matter how irrefutable the facts, how impeccable the logic, how eloquent the words, you know in your heart that he can’t hear you, not in any way, there is no mind there.” Two people who have it right (on bottom up thinking) are Heylighen and Grobstein. Geoff is really good at idiot talk, the most eloquent I have seen. I followed the comments on a link that Geoff sent me. It confirms my feelings on the subject. Stupid is forever, you can’t fix stupid.

The universe is simple once you accept that it is indeterminate.

The mind is simple once you accept that it is indeterminate.

Idiots are just simple. How easy it must be to be an idiot.

What to do? Dunno.
